Terms and Conditions for customers inside the European Union

• We offer 2 ways how you can order and pay:
  a) 20% pre-payment (deposit) via bank transfer and 80% cash on delivery for all customized items or 100% cash on delivery for all items we hold on stock. Cash on delivery means, our carrier (UPS) will bring the mosaic to your home and you give him the money in cash. You can be all time sure that the mosaic reaches you but normally you have to pay before you can unpack it.
  b) 50% pre-payment (deposit) via bank transfer and 50% payment via bank transfer after receiving the mosaic. That means you can unpack the mosaic and convince yourself that everything is well done.
• After processing your order, we can deliver your mosaic all time in less than 6 weeks after your pre-payment (deposit) has been received. Please contact us for delivery times concerning orders bigger than 2 square meter.
• Please note that all prices given at this website do include German national taxes (19% VAT, customs duties). According to the European law goods can be moved free inside the European Union. Private customers will be treated like German customers while business customers can receive their goods free of German VAT if they tell us a valid national VAT-identification number.
• The procedure of processing your order requires your cooperation. Please check your given mail address frequently and notice these advices with care:
  • We expect your payment in 2 ranges according to option a or b as described above.
  • The first range is for our safeness before we start producing your order. The time we have to wait for the first range will be used to prepare the later manufacturing (e.g. drawing the needed outlines).
  • After receiving the first range we will start manufacturing of the mosaic.
  • Having finished this step you will receive a picture of your ordered mosaic. We will ask you to check the picture and accept the results or to give critical comments. In the case of any discrepancies we will initiate the desired rework and ask you again for your approval.
  • Latest 6 weeks after we got your first range you will receive the ordered mosaic at your home.
  • Please pay the second range latest at the day of receiving the mosaic.
• We accept bank wire transfer and payments via Paypal. Because of the increasing criminal abuse of credit cards we hope for your understanding that we prefer to prevent any possible inconvenience and do not accept credit cards for international payments.

Terms and Conditions for customers outside the European Union

We offer our service also to customers from outside the European Union under different conditions as stated above:

1. Our favoured way for receiving payments from international buyers outside the EU is Paypal or Moneybookers. We think that this way is the most equitable for you and us.
2. We expect 50% pre-payment (deposit) via bank transfer or Moneybookers or Paypal and 50% payment after receiving the mosaic. You can claim back your money with the help of Paypal if we do not perform as promised. We are not equipped to accept credit cards.
3. You will receive your order via DHL-Express or UPS within 3 weeks after paying. We need 2 weeks for production and 1 week for shipping to your home. Very exotic locations can cause longer delivery times than 1 week.
4. Our prices at this website do include all shipping costs. We cover our higher expenses for shipping by saving national taxes that are included at the given prices for European customers.
5. Please note that we always give truly invoices to our shipments and that you will have to pay the typical custom fees of your home country. These fees will be charged directly by the transportation company (DHL or UPS).
